He is looking forward to meeting with, advocating for, and treating patients for their dermatological conditions.

Beth N. Sweney, PA-C

Dermatology Physician Assistant

Beth Sweney is thrilled to begin her career as a dermatology PA with the wonderful staff at the Psoriasis and Eczema Treatment Center of Western Michigan. After growing up in Perrysburg, Ohio, she attended Ferris State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was named The Outstanding Graduate in Biology in 2016. She then obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University in 2018. Beth has always wanted to pursue a career in dermatology and is excited for that dream to come true.

In addition to studying medicine, Beth enjoys swimming, biking, gardening, reading, and especially spending time with her daughter, Maddy.  She looks forward to spending her weekends on the beautiful Michigan beaches in summer, with plenty of sunscreen, of course!

Beth is licensed by the State of Michigan and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  In addition to having a passion for helping patients, Beth also mentors pre-PA students at Ferris State and will be a guest lecturer for the PA program at Grand Valley.  Beth believes in treating every patient with compassion and evidence-based medicine because everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin.
